July 2026 — Freedom & Liberation

Reclaiming What Has Been Exiled

Most of us think freedom means having more choices, more time, more resources, or more control over our lives. Yet yoga and depth psychology suggest a different possibility. What if freedom is not primarily about gaining something, but about releasing what no longer serves us?

The need for approval. The fear of disappointing others. The quiet belief that we are somehow not enough.

These inner patterns often shape our decisions long before we become aware of them, influencing our relationships, our creativity, our vitality, and even our capacity for joy.

In both Jungian psychology and the Kundalini yoga tradition, liberation begins with awareness. We cannot free ourselves from what remains unconscious. Old narratives, inherited expectations, free-wheeling complexes, and conditioned reactions can quietly govern our lives from behind the scenes. As awareness grows, we become less identified with our fears, habits, and limiting beliefs. We begin to discover that we are more than the stories we have been telling ourselves.

This July Seasonal Practice Series invites us into that exploration.

The Journey

Over four weeks we will explore:

Week 1 — The Nature of Freedom

Freedom from conditioning, habitual reactions, and unconscious identification.

Week 2 — Reclaiming the Exiled Self

Welcoming forgotten gifts, neglected aspects of the personality, and unlived possibilities.

Week 3 — The Courage of Expression

Finding authentic voice, creativity, and heart-centered action.

Week 4 — Living from the Center

Cultivating alignment with the deeper Self and bringing greater coherence into everyday life.

What to Expect

Each gathering includes:

  • Kundalini Yoga
  • Pranayama (breath practices)
  • Meditation
  • Deep relaxation

Disclaimer

These classes are offered for educational and experiential purposes only and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. Please consult your healthcare provider before beginning any new physical, breath-based, or meditative practice. Participants are encouraged to honor their own needs and limitations, modify practices as necessary, and assume responsibility for their own well-being.

This series integrates Kundalini Yoga, depth psychology, mythology, contemplative traditions, seasonal wisdom, and symbolic reflection. References to archetypes, consciousness, subtle energy, and spiritual symbolism are presented as educational and contemplative frameworks for personal exploration.

While Kundalini Yoga was popularized in the West through various lineages, including that of Yogi Bhajan, I do not endorse or condone the harmful actions and abuses he has been accused of. My teaching is informed by personal practice, ongoing study, depth psychology, contemplative traditions, and a deep respect for the wisdom that transcends any one teacher, lineage, or organization.

Participation in this series constitutes acceptance of responsibility for one’s own experience and well-being.
