February 2026 Kundalini Yoga Series

The Perceptive Heart

A Kundalini Yoga Series for Cultivating Courage, Compassion & Inner Authority

January’s series invited us into the experience of coherence—moments when breath, body, and heart aligned, and something steadied within us. February continues this arc by turning more fully toward the heart, not as an emotional center, but as an organ of perception. When the nervous system is regulated and embodied, the heart becomes capable of seeing clearly, discerning wisely, and guiding action with quiet authority.

This four-week Kundalini Yoga series explores the heart as an inner sun: a source of warmth, orientation, and moral clarity. Rather than emphasizing emotional expression or idealized “heart opening,” we approach the heart as a perceptual faculty—one that refines how we meet ourselves, others, and the choices we are asked to make. Courage, compassion, and inner authority are cultivated not through force or sentiment, but through clarity and steadiness.

We begin the series on February 1st under the light of the Full Moon. In this work, the Full Moon is not treated as a source of power, but as a mirror—illuminating what is already present. The moon reflects light; the heart generates it. This lunar threshold invites deeper listening and perceptual refinement, helping us sense where the heart is ready to see more truthfully and respond more honestly.

The February Journey

Week 1 — The Perceptive Heart

Illumination, Coherence & Inner Seeing
February 1 — Full Moon

We open the series with a Full Moon practice using Antar Naad Mudra, a meditation traditionally practiced at the Full Moon to cultivate deep inner listening. This class introduces the heart as an organ of perception, exploring how coherence supports clarity, courage, and wise choice when attention is embodied and steady.

Week 2 — The Full-Bodied Heart

Warmth Without Overexposure
Valentine’s Weekend

This class explores love beyond romance or sentimentality, approaching it instead as a refining force that clarifies perception and steadies presence. We cultivate a heart that can remain warm and responsive without collapsing or armoring—grounded in the body and capable of staying.

Week 3 — Courage & the Moral Heart

Discernment in Action

Courage is explored not as bravado or willpower, but as the heart’s capacity to perceive what is true and respond with integrity. This class deepens the relationship between perception and action, inviting discernment that arises from clarity rather than reactivity.

Week 4 — Inner Authority

Living from the Perceptive Heart

The final class integrates the month’s work, exploring what it means to live from a heart that sees clearly and acts quietly. Inner authority is cultivated as an embodied quality—rooted in perception, steadiness, and self-trust rather than external validation.

This series draws from a wealth of ancient yogic, psychological, and spiritual traditions. While Kundalini Yoga has been popularized in the West through various lineages, including that of Yogi Bhajan, I do not endorse or condone the actions he has been accused of. My teaching is informed by years of study, personal practice, and a deep respect for the timeless wisdom that transcends any one individual.
