May 2026 — The Flowering

The Unfolding Self Through Direct Experience

There are times in the year when something begins to reveal itself—what was stirring quietly beneath the surface begins to gather, to move, to take shape. What has been forming from within comes forward, ready to meet the light.

In many traditions, the unfolding of the Self is likened to a tree—roots deepening, a central axis rising, branches extending toward light. And yet, there are moments in this unfolding when something becomes visible… when what has been held, nourished, and shaped from within begins to take form.

This is the moment of flowering—a natural movement into expression, where what has been known inwardly begins to live through us, directly, as experience.

The Five-Week Arc

Week 1 — The Threshold of Unfolding
A subtle shift into presence, where something begins to take shape. We turn toward direct experience—sensing what is already arising, without needing to define or direct it.

Week 2 — The Holding Field
The space of nourishment and receptivity in which growth is allowed. Through steadiness and attention, we begin to create the inner conditions that support transformation as it unfolds in its own time.

Week 3 — The Pressure to Become
The inner gathering that moves toward expression. What has been forming begins to press forward, bringing a sense of movement, energy, and the natural impulse to take form.

Week 4 — The Unfolding Self
A natural emergence into form, without force. What has been developing inwardly begins to express itself more fully, guided by an underlying intelligence rather than effort or control.

Week 5 — The Radiant Field
A quiet fullness, where being itself becomes expressive. The process settles into presence, and expression arises as a natural extension of awareness.

What This Series Is

This five-week series explores the process of unfolding through direct experience, grounded in the practices of Kundalini Yoga.

Rather than approaching practice as something to master or achieve, we turn toward what is already present—sensing, allowing, and gradually participating in what is emerging. Through pranayam, kriya, meditation, and guided deep relaxation, the body becomes the ground through which this process is felt and integrated.

Each week reflects a different phase of this unfolding, offering a steady progression that supports both awareness and expression.

What Each Class Includes

  • Pranayam (breathwork to regulate and direct the life force energy)
  • Kriya (movement sequences to support circulation and integration)
  • Meditation (to deepen awareness and stabilize attention)
  • Guided deep relaxation

No prior experience is required. All practices are offered with options to meet your body where it is.

Community Integration

Each class is followed by an optional time for Community Integration.

Some participants log off at the end of practice, while others remain. Over time, a small and consistent group has formed—creating a quiet, supportive space for reflection and shared experience.

This series draws from a wealth of ancient yogic, psychological, and spiritual themes rooted in diverse traditions. While Kundalini Yoga has been popularized in the West through various lineages, including that of Yogi Bhajan, I do not endorse or condone the actions he has been accused of. My teaching is informed by years of study, personal practice, and a deep respect for the timeless wisdom that transcends any one individual.
