In America, the 4th of July is celebrated as Independence Day. But are we really free if we are a slave to self-defeating patterns of thinking and behaviors? When you learn to control your breath your open yourself up to your unlimited potential. Together we will practice the 1-minute breath (pranayam) and begin to master our thoughts.
The kriya (set of exercises) is the Basic Spinal Series, which really gets us ready for the Liberation Kriya. When you move your spine in specific ways, as taught in this class, you will increase your flexibility on the mat–and off. You gain freedom in your body and mind.
The Liberation Kriya brings you new life as it rebuilds your inner strength and commitment to life. It renews you from the inside out and changes the molecular structure of your body and mind. You will become like a straight arrow with your heart in the middle.
There is a formula to this class, set aside time when you won’t be disturbed. You will be sitting in on a full length yoga and meditation class. Do not be tempted to skip the deep relaxation portion of this class, because that is when you are harvesting your work! Allow your body to make the subtle adjustments that it needs to make during this portion of the class.
